Join Brother Ronald on this trip of a lifetime to southern Italy as we embark on a
Puglia Discovery: Unveiling the Mediterranean Jewel, visiting: BARI — LECCE — MATERA — BARI.

November 1 – 11, 2023, $4,499 pp* (for single supplement, please add $1,000).

This exciting trip to Puglia takes you to many places that are only experienced by a few! You will visit Bari, Lecce, Matera, San Giovanni Rotondo, Alberobello, Locorotondo, and Ostuni. The trip will leave on ITA Italian Airlines from JFK on November 1 and arrive in Bari on the morning of November 2 and depart from Bari for home on November 11. We will commence our tour in experiencing the Puglia region with our first day in Bari.

You will be welcomed to your 4-star hotel in Bari and enjoy the afternoon at your leisure. The following day, we will enjoy a walking tour of this incredible town of beauty and history. The next day we will take a day trip to San Giovanni Rotondo, which is renowned as the hometown of the Capuchin friar, Padre Pio, a beloved saint known for many miracles!

After breakfast on the next day, we depart Bari and drive to the fantastic country-side town, Alberobello – famous for its 14th century houses constructed from limestone – now a UNESCO treasure. We arrive in Lecce to check in to our hotel – a medieval city with beautiful cathedrals and an opportunity for you to enjoy it on your own. After the city tour, we will taste the famous pastry of Lecce.

We will travel to Locorotondo, one of the most beautiful cities, where everything is white-washed and adorned with flowers.

Depart for Matera, a historical city in the Basilicata region of southern Italy. It is an ancient Roman city with cave dwelling and unique architecture – a UNESCO world heritage site. On our 9th day, we expolore the city of Matera, before our 10th day and
a journey to Ostuni, often known as “the white city”. You’ll be captivated by its unique character. Day 11 we depart from Bari to the airport, headed back to the United States.

Trip includes: airlines, 4-star downtown hotels, breakfast throughout, three dinners – one in each of the cities in which we stay, airport transfers, transportation, tour guide, porterage of one suitcase (less than 50 pounds).

What is not included: tips for tour guides, bus driver, beverages at dinner, city tax at each hotel of 1-5 euros per person per night, additional meals.

The cost of the trip is only $4,499. A single room is $1,000 additional.

This amazing tour should sell rapidly and so we ask you to make your reservation with your deposit of $1,499 per person no later than July 15. The additional payment of $3,000 is required by August 15. We ask that you pay by check to the Ministry of Caring, as there is a 3% surcharge for credit cards.
